BLIND TABLA PLAYER किशोर सांवरिया का जन्म रामपुरिया गांव में हुआ था. उसके जन्म के समय ही उसके माता-पिता को पता चल गया था कि उसकी आंखों की रोशनी नहीं है. हालांकि, उन्होंने सांवरिया को कभी भी बोझ नहीं माना और उसे हमेशा अपने अन्य बच्चों की तरह ही प्यार दिया. सांवरिया ने अपनी प्राथमिक शिक्षा गांव के ही एक स्कूल में प्राप्त की. इसके बाद, उसने आगे की पढ़ाई के लिए एक विशेष स्कूल में दाखिला लिया. इस स्कूल में, उसने ढोलक बजाना सीखा और उसमें महारत हासिल की.

सांवरिया के पिता एक मजदूर थे और उनकी माता एक गृहिणी थीं. परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति अच्छी नहीं थी. सांवरिया ने अपने परिवार की मदद करने के लिए ढोलक बजाना शुरू किया. वह गांवों में होने वाले भजन कार्यक्रमों में ढोलक बजाता था और उसके बदले में उसे कुछ पैसे मिलते थे. सांवरिया का एक छोटा भाई था, जिसका छह महीने पहले एक सड़क दुर्घटना में निधन हो गया. अब, सांवरिया के माता-पिता की पूरी जिम्मेदारी उसी के कंधों पर आ गई है. वह अपने माता-पिता के लिए कुछ भी करने को तैयार है.
